TRYOUTS ARE SEPTEMBER 18TH 2026 

 

2018-2019 birth year (Mite/8U) -  FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18, 4:00PM-5:00PM RICE LAKE HOCKEY ARENA

               ( Mite tryout is FREE - There will only be a Mite team put together if there is enough interest and coaching )

2016-2017 birth year (Squirt/10U) - FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18, 5:15PM-6:30PM RICE LAKE HOCKEY ARENA                              

 

2015 birth year (Peewee/12U) - FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18, 6:45-8:00PM RICE LAKE HOCKEY ARENA

 

2013 birth year (Bantam/14U) - FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18, 8:15PM-9:30PM RICE LAKE HOCKEY ARENA

 

2012 birth year (Bantam/14U) - DATE TBD

Each player is required to wear full gear for the on ice tryout and provide a numbered jersey.

 

The fee to tryout is $25/player with tryouts lasting approximately 1 hour 15 min. ( Mite tryout is FREE )

Players do not need to sign up to tryout.  Forms will be available for completion at tryouts and are also available below to complete in advance and emailed to us. Please arrive early to fill out these forms.

 

You will need your skater’s USA hockey number for all tryouts.

 

Players will be notified within two weeks after tryouts if they were selected for the team.  Total cost of the program is $975.  1st payment of $325 will be due by OCTOBER 15th, 2026. 2nd Payment of $400 will be due by January 1st, 2027. Remaining payment of $250 will be due by March 1st, 2026 . All payment are non-refundable.

 

The team will consist of  9 forwards, 6 defense and 1-2 goalies.  We will be looking for competitive team players with a  positive attitude and knowledge of the game.  Experience at a position will also be considered.  We will not bring on players with ego or anger issues. The players selected will be expected to attend practices weekly at the Rice Lake Hockey Arena and play in all scheduled games and tournaments.

 

As a player, you will be representing the Barron County area along with local sponsors who have donated  towards our program. Players, parents and coaches will be respectful both on and off the ice.
